If we place your recommended referral (must be a new registration) within 12 months of recommendation into a permanent role, you will receive £200 when they have been in their role for a minimum of 8 weeks.
If you refer a hiring manager to us, who we have not previously identified, is actively recruiting and who is willing to use our services, we will pay you: £200 for every permanent placement made with that manager for a period of 12 months from the date of first placement starting employment. And £200 for every contractor placed on completion of 8 weeks worked through CRG for a period of 12 months.

How do I register with City Recruitment Group?
Before registering as a candidate, we ask everyone to send through their CV either by calling in and speaking to a consultant or applying directly for jobs.
On receipt of your CV, a consultant will assess your skills and experience and if we believe we can assist you, we will call you to arrange an appointment for you to come in and register as a candidate with us. Please note that we receive a high volume of CVs on a daily basis so sadly we are not able to come back to all candidates.
How long does it take to secure a job after registering with you?
We can never guarantee how long the job hunting and interview process will take. This can be dependent on many factors: from the type of role you’re looking for, to your experience, to the time of year! We estimate that most registered candidates will find a role in the first three months of meeting us.
What can you do for me?
Some of the points are detailed in the section above, but primarily we are here to help you with your next career step and it’s important that you feel you can ask us for advice at every stage. We will give you guidance around correctly setting out your CV, as well as prepare you for interviews and recommend realistic salary expectations. You will also be given a copy of our candidate resource to take away with you, which is full of useful hints and tips. We ask that you also keep us informed of any updates so that we can work together as effectively as possible.
Does it cost me anything?
No, candidates do not pay us anything unless going for a specific service such as professional CV writing.
How often should I stay in touch?
Please feel free to call and update us with your working situation, particularly if your circumstances change or if you would like to send through an updated CV. On the temporary side, please make sure you regularly let us know your availability via phone or email. Communication with the temporary team is vital and can make a huge difference between getting a temp assignment or not!
I have sent a copy of my CV to you for some roles I think I am suitable for. Why hasn’t anyone called me?
This could be for any number of reasons, sometimes clients are specific about industry sector experience, for example they might have told us that they only want to see candidates with automotive industry experience. It could also be that based on the information that we hold on you we don’t think that you might be suitable or interested, due to location or salary for example. If in doubt, then please call and we can double check.
Will City Recruitment group send my CV to clients without contacting me or without my permission?
NO, we will never do this, we only present your details to a client after we have spoken to you about the vacancy, the company and received your permission to do so.
How important are computer skills?
In this day and age, very! If your skills are not up to scratch, we recommend that you either refresh your skills or look into training programmes (we can advise on this when you register). For corporate PAs, secretaries or team assistants, we’d look for candidates with a 45WPM+ typing speed and intermediate MS Office skills. In today’s workplace it seems that clients no longer (or rarely) require shorthand skills and, by contrast, knowledge of MS PowerPoint is often a prerequisite. Please don’t hesitate to ask our consultants for further advice on improving your skills.
